| ARCHETYPE ID | openEHR-EHR-CLUSTER.lens_specification.v0 |
|---|---|
| Concept | Lens specification |
| Description | This archetype defines the specifications of a lens, including its type, power, and other relevant attributes. It can also be used to specify a constellation of trial lenses, if they are positioned sufficiently closely to one another to be simplified as one lens. It is used to document lens details for glasses or contact lenses, based on observations, prescriptions, or measurements. |
| Use | To document lens details for patients, including those derived from refraction observations, lensmeter measurements, or prescriptions |
| Misuse | This Archetype is not used to document the measurement of a refractive error. |
| Purpose | To provide a structured and standardized way to record lens specifications in clinical or optical settings, |
