ARCHETYPE Examination of a blastocyst (openEHR-EHR-CLUSTER.exam_blastocyst.v1)

ARCHETYPE IDopenEHR-EHR-CLUSTER.exam_blastocyst.v1
ConceptExamination of a blastocyst
DescriptionMorphological findings obtained by microscopy of a human blastocyst.
UseUse to record morphological observations about a human blastocyst, usually as part of assisted reproduction treatment. This archetype has been specifically designed to be used in the 'Observations detail' SLOT within the 'OBSERVATION.embryo_assessment' or 'ACTION.procedure' archetype, but can also be used within other ENTRY or CLUSTER archetypes, where clinically appropriate.
MisuseNot to be used for recording observations on oocytes, zygotes and cleavage stage embryos - use specific CLUSTER archetypes for this purpose.
PurposeTo record structured observations about a human blastocyst.
