ConceptRecommendation on the treatment of AMD
DescriptionA suggestion, advice or proposal toward application of the appropriate therapy for patients diagnosed with age-related macular degeneration.
UseUse to record a suggestion, advice or proposal about the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, valid at a specific time of healthcare. The statement is considered for the specific point-in-time it is registered, as the therapeutic guidelines may vary according to the context of the disease and the information evaluated in each clinical encounter. For example, the treatment can be modified over time depending on the progression of the disease.
PurposeTo record a suggestion, advice or proposal about the most suitable treatment at a specific time, for each patient with age-related macular degeneration.
