ConceptHousing
DescriptionDetails about the place where an individual lives.
UseUse to record details about the place where an individual is living in order to support decision-making for clinical management and provision of additional health services. If the individual is currently living in a different place from usual, use the run-time name constraints on the 'Housing situation' data element to specify details about the Current living situation. To record details of the Usual living situation use an other instance of this archetype. Specifically designed to be used within the EVALUATION.social_summary archetype, but may be used within any clinically appropriate ENTRY or CLUSTER archetype related to recording social context.
MisuseNot to be used to record details about features of the home environment, such as whether there's a refrigerator or if there are several floors with no elevator - use the CLUSTER.home_environment archetype for this purpose. Not to be used to record details about the household, such as whether the individual lives alone or with others, or has dependents at home - use the CLUSTER.household archetype for this purpose.
PurposeTo record details about the place where an individual is living in order to support decision-making for clinical management and provision of additional health services.
