ARCHETYPE IDopenEHR-EHR-OBSERVATION.nyha_heart_failure.v1
ConceptNew York Heart Association functional classification
DescriptionA simple method of classifying the extent of heart failure, as defined by the New York Heart Association.
UseUse to record one or both of: - a functional assessment of heart failure based on symptoms; and - an objective assessment based on both evidence of cardiovascular disease and symptoms.
PurposeTo record one or both of: - a functional assessment of heart failure based on symptoms; and - an objective assessment based on both evidence of cardiovascular disease and symptoms.
